Potato

Being the second staple food of Nepal, an average Nepali consumes 61 kg of potato per year. With the consumption so high, yet our country isn’t able to meet the demand of the market. We export around 3.11 billion worth of potatoes each year i.e. about 3678 tons.

The potato seeds produced by us through tissue culture technique are genetically pure, disease free and have a higher productivity. This will not only increase the yield but will also have an impact over the country’s GDP growth.
