Paulownia

Paulownia are the plants that are fast growing nature. Along with the remarkable properties like growing on minimal nutrients, light weighted wood for furniture, ability to manage the soil erosion, tissue culture has been done to produce it in large scale. According to our market survey, one-hectare (1.5 Bigha or 20 Ropani) plantation (15,000 trees) can give 100 tons (1,00,000 KG) firewood every year and at least 60,000 cubic feet of timber after 10 years if tissue culture is adopted.
