Microbes play key roles in nutrient cycling, bio-degradation/bio-deterioration, climate change, food spoilage, the cause and control of disease, and overall biotechnology. Thanks to their versatility we put these microbes in work in many ways making life-saving drugs, the manufacture of bio-fuels, cleaning up pollution, and producing/processing food and drink.

Our objectives here at Kalapas are:
